We seek an experienced Sales Manager with a tech or cyber security background. This role involves expanding our client base, upselling to existing clients, and building a robust pipeline in the private and public sectors. We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager with a tech or cyber security background. This role involves expanding our client base (70% new business development), upselling to existing clients (30% account management), and building a robust pipeline in the private and public sectors. The successful candidate will work through our existing client base of 200+ clients to source opportunities. This role offers uncapped commission potential, a structured career path to a Sales Director role, and the opportunity to build a team by hiring Business Development Executives (BDE) and Account Managers.
Responsibilities:
- Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Build a strong client pipeline through effective lead generation.
- Conduct LinkedIn outreach and networking activities.
- Upsell and expand services to existing clients
Relationship Building:
- Develop strong client relationships, understanding their security needs.
- Conduct client visits, deliver compelling presentations, and engage in consultative sales discussions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, offering tailored solutions for client needs.
- Foster client relationships for long-term satisfaction and retention.
- Build relationships with Partners and contribute to the Cyber Security Partner Program.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Collaborate on effective sales strategies with the leadership team.
- Meet or exceed sales targets, contributing to revenue growth.
- Maintain accurate sales records, report on activities, and provide forecasts.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities in cyber security.
- Lead in building a Sales team.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize sales processes.
- Provide market feedback to refine service offerings.
- Work through the existing client base (of 200+ clients) to source opportunities.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven sales experience (3-5 years) in cyber security.
- Strong understanding of cyber security consultancy services (pen testing or GRC services)
- Excellent relationship-building and networking skills, with a LinkedIn presence.
- Self-motivated and target-driven with a track record of achieving sales targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Comfortable with client visits and conducting sales discussions.
- Experience with CRM solutions, ideally HubSpot.
- Ability to manage a pipeline of opportunities and prioritize sales activities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong ambition and drive for professional growth.
Package:
- Up to £50-60k basic with uncapped OTE.
- OTE of c£25k Commission in Year1 & Double OTE after that
- Generous commission structure.
- 40-hour working weeks with flexible policies.
