Job Title: Cybersecurity Team Leader - Penetration Testing and Vulnerability Scanning
Location: 100% Remote (UK-based candidates only; Eligible for Security Clearance)

Position Overview: Our client is in search of an experienced and dynamic Cybersecurity Team Leader to spearhead the penetration testing and vulnerability scanning team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a penetration tester, with a strong emphasis on strategic thinking and an entrepreneurial spirit.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of penetration testers to achieve optimal performance.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, encouraging continuous learning and development.
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement strategies to stay ahead of emerging threats and technologies.
- Drive the creation and expansion of new services within the penetration testing and vulnerability scanning portfolio.
Project Management:
- Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and ensure timely completion of projects within set deadlines.
- Effectively manage resources to optimize project outcomes and client satisfaction.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders, providing clear and concise insights into vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cybersecurity solutions seamlessly.
Mentorship and Development:
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Design and implement training programs to enhance the skills of the penetration testing team.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a penetration tester.
- Certified Red Teamer (CRT); and Certified Team Leader (CTL) would be a bonus.
- Proven experience in devising strategies for new services within the cybersecurity domain.
- Must have hands-on experience in developing new services or possess the expertise to formulate strategies for adding additional services to the consultancy.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop strategic plans to address evolving threats.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
