Job Summary:

We seek an experienced Sales Manager with a tech or cyber security background. This role involves expanding our client base, upselling to existing clients, and building a robust pipeline in the private and public sectors. Uncapped commission potential, career progression, and active involvement in business growth are key highlights.

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager with a tech or cyber security background. This role involves expanding our client base (70% new business development), upselling to existing clients (30% account management), and building a robust pipeline in the private and public sectors. The successful candidate will work through our existing client base of 200+ clients to source opportunities. This role offers uncapped commission potential, a structured career path to a Sales Director role, and the opportunity to build a team by hiring Business Development Executives (BDE) and Account Managers.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Business Development:
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  3. Build a strong client pipeline through effective lead generation.
  4. Conduct LinkedIn outreach and networking activities.
  5. Upsell and expand services to existing clients

Relationship Building:

  1. Develop strong client relationships, understanding their security needs.
  2. Conduct client visits, deliver compelling presentations, and engage in consultative sales discussions.
  3. Serve as a trusted advisor, offering tailored solutions for client needs.
  4. Foster client relationships for long-term satisfaction and retention.
  5. Build relationships with Partners and contribute to the Cyber Security Partner Program.

Sales Strategy and Execution:

  1. Collaborate on effective sales strategies with the leadership team.
  2. Meet or exceed sales targets, contributing to revenue growth.
  3. Maintain accurate sales records, report on activities, and provide forecasts.
  4. Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities in cyber security.
  5. Lead in building a Sales team.

Team Collaboration:

  1. Collaborate with internal teams to optimize sales processes.
  2. Provide market feedback to refine service offerings.
  3. Work through the existing client base (of 200+ clients) to source opportunities.

 Qualifications and Requirements:

  1. Proven sales experience (3-5 years) in cyber security.
  2. Strong understanding of cyber security consultancy services (pen testing or GRC services)
  3. Excellent relationship-building and networking skills, with a LinkedIn presence.
  4. Self-motivated and target-driven with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  5. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  6. Comfortable with client visits and conducting sales discussions.
  7. Experience with CRM solutions, ideally HubSpot.
  8. Ability to manage a pipeline of opportunities and prioritize sales activities.
  9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  10. Strong ambition and drive for professional growth.

 

Package:

  • Up to £50-60k basic with uncapped OTE.
  • OTE of c£25k Commission in Year1 & Double OTE after that
  • Generous commission structure.
  • 40-hour working weeks with flexible policies.
  • Hybrid working with an office in Altrincham, Manchester.
